Problem Solving 101
An Indiana farm wife called the local phone company to report her telephone failed to ring when her friends called -- and that on the few occasions when it did ring, her pet dog always moaned right before the phone rang.
The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile elderly lady. He climbed a nearby telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and dialed the subscriber's house. The phone didn't ring right away, but then the dog moaned loudly and the telephone began to ring. Climbing down from the pole, the telephone repairman found:
1. The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground wire via a steel chain and collar. 2. The wire connection to the ground rod was loose. 3. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the phone number was called. 4. After a couple of such jolts, the dog would start moaning and then urinate on himself and the ground. 5. The wet ground would complete the circuit, thus causing the phone to ring.
Which demonstrates that some problems CAN be fixed by pissing and moaning.

well, that can happen as discribed. Has it happened? who knows, but what i do kno is those wires dont run 90 volts, they run 48 volts. lol if that did happen, i feel bad for that dog cuz electricity hurts, believe me, i kno lol one time i was working on a computer and i was having trouble plugging a power cord into a surge protector and the stupid thing just didnt wanna go all the way in so i went to pull it back out and try a different plug and what do i touch? the exposed metal prongs and i shocked the hell outta myself, i felt it go straight to my heart in a split second but luckily, i've been taught how to react quickly to being electricuted and i pulled my hand away instantly. This all happened in a fraction of a second but it left my body shivering slighly and a weird buzz was in my chest. lol when that happened i sat down and thanked god for giving me a quick thinking brain cuz if i didnt kno what to do, i probably coulda been seriously hurt or dead. lol the #1 thing i learned from that is never be careless with electricity, even when it looks like i cant shock myself, i can.

LOL u wana hear how stupid i am Once i was writing some paper about a yr ago and i picked up my pencil to like the back but it turned out it wasnt my pencil it was my moms laptop charging cord luckily the voltage was probably toned down for enterance into a laptop but i got a hell of a shock it like mad emy eyes go black over and i ripped it out of my mouth it went into my tonge it was scary then i jsut sat there for like 5 minutes shaking in shock or something then i got up and todl my mom and she was like omg u coudlve died and told me to go finish my homework like nothing happened lol. Also in woodshop the electical outlets that hung from the ceiling the plastic shield on the front was falling apart and everyone was sticking there hands in like omg look at me im brave and i did it and got a shock but pulled away like in the blink of an eye then the kid next to me after i told him he took my pencil and put it in metal 1st. and nothing happened then while he was taking it out bang wile the teacher was talking and he pulled it all the way out and the teacher didnt notice. Then we examined it and there were tow spots in it where the metal was like disintegrated like not there lol. And like for the rest of the week kids kept putting there arms in for the rush until finally before someone got killed they put new metal covers on them. Woodshop 1 fun times fun times. I remember when my friend was tailing me and let go of the wood and it hit me in the balls luckily it was backing so it wasnt that bad. He also left a router on when he plugged it in so it spun off the table onto his project. and stayer there where i grabbed it. He also tried to do a decorative edge with the bit u use for joints. That was the funnest class ever lol.
