lol jeese u up and picked some hard ones. ok, lets see, you see trees in episode 4, a new hope on the 4th moon of yavin. If memory serves, those trees were of the redwood/sequoia family but i am not exactly sure seeing as you dont get much of a glipse of them. However, i am 100% positive that the trees of episode 6 were of the redwood/sequoia family seeing as they filmed the entire speederbike sene in northern california. infact, the way they filmed it was they took a camera, one that shoots i believe 100 frames per minute, and took a little hike within the forest. when sped up to normal time, the film appears to be goin 100 mph and, this is an added bonus, since i am a nature buff and have traveled throughout those forests, i have actually been able to recognise some places of the forest from the film where i have been. (though it is hard to see details, that film is moving pretty fast) Finally, the question about how many people were in the first starwars movie, i cannot say, why? cuz i dont memorise things like that, i mainly memorize the story. If i were to give an estimate, i would say they used maybe 50 extras (they alternated between being storm troopers and people you could see) and i guess they used maybe 21 people who had important speaking parts. (that includes the main cast) that would make it 71 people. Oh, i nearly forgot, all the people working the sets...hmmm, i suppose possibly 100 or less did actual filming/make-up/etc. and 100+ built the sets and maybe 20 people built models. Then i guess that there were 10 to 20 people working on explosions, 1 guy working on collecting sound effects, who knows how many working on music, george himself did the editing (with a few helpers), and if u can think of anything else tell me and i'll add an estimated number.
